Auteur "The Anatomy of Humbug: How to Think Differently About Advertising"

I spent thirty years in advertising at Boase Massimi Pollitt/DDB, as an account planner. Fifteen of these years were also in a global strategic training and development role for DDB Worldwide. Since 2006 I have worked as an independent consultant. I also took the wonderful Master's Degree in Organizational Change, at Ashridge Business School, and then went on to study a gestalt approach to change, at the Metanoia Institute. I continue to be fascinated by brands, advertising, and communications.

 

 

I am interested in helping clients find ways to improve organisational practice in all these areas, using all my understanding of advertising theory as well my training in organisational behaviour. My new book, The Anatomy of Humbug: How to Think Differently About Advertising, offers a radical but practical new perspective on many of the difficulties of creating advertising. I am also available as a consultant to help your organisation translate these ideas into action.
